This is my whipped balm in its simplest form: grass-fed beef tallow, rendered by hand in small batches in Renwick, then whipped light and soft. No fragrance, no essential oils, no colour, nothing added. I made it for people who've tried balm after balm and found something in each that didn't agree with them.

- Warm a pea-sized amount between your fingertips.
- Press it into clean skin; slightly damp skin helps it spread.
- Use on face, hands and body whenever skin feels dry.

Store somewhere cool; it softens in heat and firms up again. Use within about 6 months of opening, patch test first, and note it contains beef tallow, so it isn't vegan.

Is it really just one ingredient?
Yes. It's 100% New Zealand grass-fed beef tallow, whipped light. There's no fragrance, no essential oils, no colour and nothing added.
Does it smell like beef?
Not really, but there's nothing added to cover it. You may notice a faint, natural buttery smell from the tallow.
Is it greasy?
Not once it's rubbed in. It can feel a little glossy for the first few minutes, then settles and leaves skin soft. If it feels oily, use less: a pea-sized amount is plenty.
Can I use it on my face?
Yes. It's made for face and body. Tallow can be too rich for oily or breakout-prone faces, so patch test first and start with a tiny amount.
100% or Unscented: which should I choose?
Both have no added scent. Choose this one if you want just one ingredient, or other balms haven't agreed with you. Unscented adds coconut, castor, jojoba and calendula-infused olive oils and vitamin E.
