As simple as soap gets: grass-fed tallow, water, sodium lactate and a little white kaolin clay. No essential oils, fragrance, milk or colour. Tallow is the only oil, so the lather is dense and creamy with small bubbles. A good pick if you'd rather avoid fragrance, and an easy bar for the whole family.
How to use

- Wet the bar and your skin.
- Lather in your hands or on a cloth, then rinse well.
- Let it dry on a draining dish between uses.

What does it smell like?
Very little. Just a clean, plain soap smell, with no fragrance or essential oils at all.
Is it 100% tallow?
Yes. Tallow is the only oil in this bar. With no coconut oil, the lather is dense and creamy with small bubbles, not big foam. Rub it between wet hands or on a cloth.
Is it vegan or dairy-free?
It's dairy-free but not vegan. There's no milk in this bar, but it's made with beef tallow.
How long does a bar last?
A long time, if it can dry out between uses. Tallow makes a hard, dense bar. Keep it on a draining dish or in a soap saver bag, never sitting in water.
How is it different from Gentle Touch?
Both are unscented. Gentle Touch is a blend bar with plant oils and cow's milk, for a bubblier lather. Southern Alps is tallow only, with no milk: the simplest bar I make.
