Gecko Creationz — Cancellation Policy

Gecko Creationz is a trading name of Straw Lodge Vineyard Limited. By completing a purchase through our Store, you agree to the following cancellation terms.

1. Cancelling an Order Before Dispatch

If you change your mind after placing an order, contact us as soon as possible at ecoshine@geckocreationz.com.

  • Before processing: If your order has not yet been processed or packed, we will cancel it and issue a full refund to your original payment method.
  • Timing: We begin processing orders promptly, often within a few hours. The sooner you contact us, the more likely we can cancel before dispatch.
  • Already dispatched: Once an order has been handed to NZ Post, we cannot cancel or redirect it. You will need to follow our Refund & Returns Policy once you receive the item.

2. Pre-Orders

Some products may be listed as "Pre-Order" when a batch is being prepared or cured.

  • Payment: Payment is taken at the time of ordering to secure your item.
  • Dispatch: Pre-order items will be dispatched once the batch is ready. We will provide an estimated timeframe on the product page and email you when your order ships.
  • Cancelling a pre-order: You may cancel a pre-order at any time before it is dispatched for a full refund. Contact us at ecoshine@geckocreationz.com with your order number.

3. Our Right to Cancel

We reserve the right to cancel an order in the following circumstances:

  • Stock unavailability or batch failure. If we cannot fulfil your order because a product is out of stock or a batch does not meet our quality standards.
  • Pricing errors. If a product was listed at an incorrect price due to a technical error, we will contact you before cancelling and give you the option to proceed at the correct price.
  • Shipping restrictions. If we are unable to ship to your location due to customs restrictions or other regulatory requirements.

In all cases where we cancel your order, we will issue a full refund to your original payment method and notify you by email.

4. Refunds for Cancelled Orders

Refunds for cancelled orders are processed within 5 business days. Please allow additional time for your bank or payment provider to credit the funds to your account.

5. Your Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (NZ) or the Australian Consumer Law. If you receive a product that is faulty, damaged, or not as described, your right to a remedy applies regardless of these cancellation terms. See our Refund & Returns Policy for details.
