A pretty pink tallow soap scented with rose geranium and lavender essential oils. Rose geranium brings a green, rosy note and lavender softens it. Made by hand in Marlborough, in small batches, by cold process. A lovely everyday bar, and an easy gift.
How to use
How to use
- Wet the bar and rub it between your hands or on a cloth.
- Wash face or body, then rinse well.
- Let the bar dry on a draining dish between uses.

What does it smell like?
Soft and floral, not a heavy perfume. It's rose geranium and lavender essential oils. There's no rose oil: rose geranium is a plant with rose-scented leaves.
Does it lather well?
Yes, but it's a creamy lather with small, dense bubbles, not big foam. There's no coconut oil, which is what makes big bubbles. In cold or hard water, rub it on a cloth.
Can I use it on my face?
Yes, lots of people do. It's still true soap, so if your face feels tight afterwards, follow with a little balm. It has essential oils, so keep it away from your eyes and patch test first.
How long does a bar last?
A long time, if it can dry out between uses. Tallow makes a hard, dense bar. The quickest way to lose one is leaving it in water, so use a draining dish or soap saver bag.
Is it vegan?
No. It's made with beef tallow, so it isn't vegan.
