Nurture wraps the woody, herbal depth of mānuka, a native New Zealand plant, around soft, sweet vanilla, with a thread of warm frankincense. It's grass-fed NZ tallow, whipped light and fluffy, and it moisturises and softens dry skin. A quiet, cosy balm to end the day.

- Warm a pea-sized amount between your fingertips.
- Press it into clean skin; slightly damp skin helps it spread.
- Use on face, hands and body whenever skin feels dry.

- Calendula-infused olive oil – My home-grown calendula, for extra softness and slip.
- Coconut oil – Softens the tallow so it whips up light.
- Castor & jojoba oils – A smooth, even glide.
- Mānuka, frankincense & vanilla – Earthy mānuka, softened by warm frankincense and vanilla.

Store somewhere cool; it softens in heat and firms up again. Use within about 6 months of opening, patch test first, and note it contains beef tallow, so it isn't vegan.

Does it smell like beef?
Not really. I render the tallow several times to keep its natural smell mild, and the scent sits over the top. You might notice a faint buttery note underneath.
What does mānuka smell like?
Warm and gentle, in this balm. On its own, mānuka oil is earthy, woody and a little herbal. Here the vanilla softens it, so it isn't sharp.
Is it greasy?
Not once it's rubbed in. It can feel a little glossy for the first few minutes, then settles and leaves skin soft. If it feels oily, use less: a pea-sized amount is plenty.
Can I use it on my face?
Yes. It's made for face and body. Tallow can be too rich for oily or breakout-prone faces, so patch test first and start with a tiny amount.
Is there an unscented version?
Yes. Our Whipped Tallow Balm – Unscented has no essential oils or fragrance. Our 100% Whipped Tallow Balm is tallow and nothing else.
