A hair clay made with grass-fed tallow, bentonite and kaolin. The clays help hair look thicker and fuller, castor oil adds grip, and jojoba keeps it soft, never crunchy. It stays pliable all day, so you can restyle without washing it out. Handmade in small batches in Marlborough.
How to use

- Scoop a pea-sized amount, less than you'd think.
- Rub between your fingertips until it warms and softens.
- Work through the ends of dry hair, then shape.

How much hold does it have?
A good amount of grip, with a matte finish. Castor oil adds grip and hold. If you want more hold, just add a little more.
Will it make my hair crunchy?
No. Jojoba keeps it soft and workable, so hair doesn't go crunchy or flaky. It stays pliable all day, so you can run your fingers through and restyle.
Why is there polysorbate 80 in it?
It's there so the clay rinses out easily with your normal shampoo, without heavy build-up. I add just 1%. It also helps the clays and oils blend. It's made from a sugar alcohol and plant oil.
What does it smell like?
Fresh and herby: rosemary, lavender and a little peppermint, with patchouli to ground it. No synthetic fragrance.
Is it vegan?
No. It contains beef tallow and beeswax, so it isn't vegan.
