Four of my gentlest soaps, two of each, for anyone who likes their soap soft, simple and kind to their skin. Two bars have no added scent at all, and two have a light, calming blend of essential oils. Every bar is made by hand in small batches in our Marlborough workshop, with grass-fed beef tallow at its heart.

What’s in the Pack (two of each, approx. 100g per bar)

• Southern Alps ×2: Made with tallow as the only oil, finished with white kaolin clay. No added scent, nothing extra. Just pure, creamy tallow soap.
• Gentle Touch ×2: Our tallow blend base with white kaolin clay for a silky feel, and no added scent. As simple as it gets.
• Honey and Oat Bliss ×2: Colloidal oatmeal and honey, with a soft blend of lavender, sandalwood and German chamomile. Warm, comforting and gentle.
• Kawakawa Calm ×2: Made with olive oil infused with native kawakawa leaves and French green clay, with sweet marjoram, frankincense, cedarwood and patchouli. Earthy, grounding and calm.

Our Process

Southern Alps is made from grass-fed beef tallow alone. The other three bars use our tallow blend base: tallow from our local Marlborough butcher, blended with olive oil, coconut oil, shea butter and castor oil, then finished with fresh cow’s milk. Every bar is palm oil-free. I make each batch by hand in our Marlborough workshop using the traditional cold process method, then let the bars cure slowly until they’re ready. That slow cure means the saponification is complete and no sodium hydroxide remains in the finished soap.

As each bar is handmade in small batches, slight variations in colour, scent and shape can happen from bar to bar. That’s the nature of a real, hand-poured soap, not a fault.
