Good questions
Questions about this one
What does it smell like?
Warm and earthy from patchouli, lifted by fresh bergamot and a lemony edge of lemongrass.
Is it 100% tallow?
No, it's a blend bar. Tallow plus olive, coconut, shea and castor oils and cow's milk gives a bubblier, softer lather. Our 100% tallow bars lather denser and creamier, with smaller bubbles.
Is it vegan or dairy-free?
No. It's made with grass-fed beef tallow and cow's milk.
How long does a bar last?
A long time, if it can dry out between uses. Tallow makes a hard, dense bar. Keep it on a draining dish or in a soap saver bag, never sitting in water.
Why Tussock Gold?
It's named after the golden tussock on the hills around Marlborough.
