Two bars each of Lavender, Lemongrass, Chocolate & Peppermint, and Charcoal & Tea Tree, nestled on wood shavings in a gift box. I make them in Marlborough by the cold process method and cure them for four weeks, so they're mild and long-lasting. Give it away, or keep the bathroom stocked.

- Wash and rinse.
- Keep it on a draining dish so it lasts longer.

Will tallow soap leave my skin greasy?
No. The bars rinse clean and leave skin feeling soft, not greasy. Glycerin forms naturally while the soap is made, and it stays in the bar.
How long does a bar last?
A good while. Tallow bars are hard and dense, so they last well, and even longer if you keep them on a draining dish between uses.
Can I use the soaps on my face?
Yes. The Charcoal & Tea Tree bar is a favourite for face and body. If your face feels dry afterwards, follow with a little balm.
Is there lye in the finished soap?
No. All real soap is made with sodium hydroxide (lye), but it's used up while the soap is made and cured. None is left in the finished bar.
Is it vegan?
No. Every bar is made with beef tallow, so they aren't vegan.
